    5 Steps to set the tone of your day first!

    1. Create the habit of thinking on one positive affirmation or a bible verse as soon as you wake up.
    2. Write a 3 or 5 things you are grateful for in your day. 
    3. Drink a glass of water first in the morning… 
    4. Pray, meditate, or reflect on your way to work…
    5. Establish a routine of waking up with the first alarm instead of snoozing.

    5 essential key points for creating a routine that works and sticks:

    • 1. Define Your Purpose
      Know why you want a routine—whether it’s to boost productivity, reduce stress, grow spiritually, or improve health. Your “why” will keep you motivated when discipline feels hard
    • 2. Start with Your Priorities
      Identify your non-negotiables—tasks or habits that matter most (e.g., prayer, exercise, family time, work). Build the rest of the routine around them.
    • 3. Set a Consistent Wake & Sleep Time
      Your body thrives on rhythm. Having a fixed start and end time to your day helps anchor your routine.
    • 4. Pair New Habits with Existing Ones
      Use “habit stacking”—connect a new habit to something you already do. Example: Reflect, pray, or do your affirmation while driving to work or sipping your morning coffee.
